Hollywood 'King' Steve Bing Died Suicide


Hollywood's 'King', Steve Bing, reportedly died on Monday (6/22), local time. Bing is known to have fallen from the 27th floor, his apartment building in LA's Century City. His death was officially declared a suicide. Bing (55 years old) passed away last Monday.

Reported through Page Six , Thursday (6/25), the cause of Bing's death was listed as trauma and he committed suicide. The authorities have also closed the case.

Bing became Hollywood's main producer and investor, having inherited 600 million US dollars from his grandfather, New York real estate developer Leo Bing. he received the inheritance when he was 18 years old.

Bing produced Sylvester Stallone's film "Get Carter" (2000) and was the main investor in Tom Hanks animated film "The Polar Express" (2004). He is also a producer of the Rolling Stones documentary (2008) directed by Martin Scorsese, "Shine a Light." Bing and Mick Jagger co-produced the documentary about Jerry Lee Lewis.

Bing is also known to donate millions of dollars to the Democratic Party. Businessman and artist Elizabeth Hurley also mourned Bill's death.
He shared a number of photos together with the deceased. He said he and Bill became close again recently.
